Born in an Illinois cornfield

sometime  in  the  early  21st  century,

Jake Rebman is foremost a songwriter. Taking influence from the greats such as John Prine, or Townes Van Zandt, his songs are honest and powerful- and he doesn't sing them half bad either.

He's joined by the "Waitin' Rounders" who back him up with an energetic, classic Honky Tonk sound. Sitting somewhere between the back row of a Baptist church and the front row of a Waylon Jennings concert, Jake Rebman & the Waitin' Rounders are melancholy country at its finest.

Jake's 2022 debut album "Songwriting Competition" shows what he has to offer, and it's taken him to "Red Barn Radio" alongside talents such as Tyler Childers, Brent Cobb, and Sierra Ferrell.

“(Jake’s) songs are, in my mind, literary.

He’s really just a top notch songwriter.

-Bradford Becker of Red Barn Radio

"His songs tell powerful, real life stories that almost feel like a dream as they unfold. We expect to see big things coming from Jake and his band in the upcoming years."
